Is there any significant difference between Star Office and Open Office? Both are by Sun Microsystems, but "Star" is paid, and "Open" is free. They look the same from the screen shots...

My husband has his own business and only uses Open Office. It is very functional and easy to use. Unlike others, it doesn't matter what kind of document you have, it will open. I haven't had any experience with star, but I can't imagine what it could do that OO can't do that's worth paying for.

Have a great day
