A few days ago my computer just began powering off completely. I'm on a Dell Inspiron 1150 running XP. It will shut off randomly anywhere from 10 minutes to an hour after bootup. My first suspicion was a thermal/cooling issue, but I dont know. I dont want to void the warranty by messing with it too much, but I would like to fix it myself rather than go through the hassle of sending it to Dell. I have also noticed the computer seems to be running a bit slower. I suspect adware, viruses, etc. I am running AdAware, Spybot, and Norton, all are updated and do not detect anything. I ran HiJack This, but I'm not sure what to do with or how to analyze the report. If somebody could tell me if any of these should be deleted I would appreciate it:

Well if you have ran all of those programs like you said you have then I think it could be that Windows has become corrupted and you just need to reinstall it. But it could also be that your power supply is bad, you have a bad mother board, CPU, RAM, or Hard Drive. If you need any more help then fill free to send me a email.

It seems to have stopped shutting down after disconnecting from my network and powering off for a day. I also poked around a little and removed some suspicious files. If anybody could let me know if anything in my HiJackThis report sounds suspicious that would be cool so I can get rid of everything.
