    Hello everyone!

I have a COMPAQ PRESARIO 5710. I recently installed CD creator 5 and basically since then, my computer freezes up all the time. At first it just froze up while using the CD creator, now it freezes up upon any use. HELP!!!

Try to uninstall the program thru add/remove programs in the Control Panel.

then, restore to a previous registry.........

Start in MS-DOS mode and press the Ctrl key as soon as your PC starts this will get you the Bootup menu.

Once the menu is up choose Comand prompt only

Type Scanreg /restore at the prompt

You will see a screen where you can select which registry backup to use.

Choose your back up and press Restore

When ready you'll be prompted to Restart your computer
