    Hi -
    thanks for your great forums!

I recently had my computer hijacked, which led to my business being maliciously attacked -- an absolute disaster of course.
I have read up on what was used -- and included were key loggers, etc, etc.
I have since changed all passwords, bought a hardware firewall, then ran the following programs which removed the following nasty things off my computer....

Programs used (after each was updated):
    AVG 7.5 Virus
    Spy Sweeper
    CounterSpy
    SpyWare Doctor
    CCCleaner

    Viruses/Trojans removed:
    Trojan horse Downloader.Generic.PUY
    Trojan.Dropper.Small.WP
    ZToolbar
    Adware.CurePCSolutions
    Trojan.Startpage.J
    Trojan.Dropper.Small.AEK
    Trojan.Repsamo
    CWS.XPSystem
    Trojan-PSW.Agent!sd5
    Trojan-PSW.Sinowal!sd5
    CWS
    CWS
    SpySherif FakeAlert
    coolwebsearch (cws)
    scanspyware
    Looking-For.Home Search Assistant
    BigBlue.01
    Trojan.Vxgame
    NewDotNet
    WatchDog

The problem is that even though I feel more secure with my hardware firewall, as I type this there are random times where there is a pause within these words like a keylogger is still working (or when I scroll -- even hijackthis which usually takes 3-4 seconds to scan now pauses on the services for a moment) -- my computer is still incredibly slow, even if I'm just opening an excel spreadsheet. Surfing the net is beyond slow. I have no ads, and no more traces of problems, aside from the sickening feeling that I have still not gotten rid of the main virus that caused all this. My computer just does not feel right. Thus, I come to the experts...

Using Hijackthis I 'fixed' the following item, as I had to do something; and this is the only thing I saw as being shady:

To be very specific, I manage Google Adwords accounts.

The hijacker took my passwords from over fifty Google Adword accounts and entered each account in order to maliciously attack them and change all my bids, daily spends, advertising areas, etc, etc -- and thoroughly destroyed stuff -- all from my own computer, possibly while I was actually on it.

They have now attempted to change my ebay password. I see no traces of anything anymore, but they are obviously still getting through.

Lastly, I have now gone through and made sure all programs are secure by updating everything and testing my system through: (I had five programs that were labeled as insecure - adobe, flashplayer, etc)

Aside from obviously hoping somebody knows whether or not I could possess additional issues -- I was curious if this appears to be a random computer-program-strike, or more deliberate and personal.

Right now an interesting thing is occurring.
I have run the Software Inspector with Secunia which I listed above.

One of the things I had to update was Java, which I updated up to version 12.
In the lower right I have a pop up now stating : 'Java Update Available'.

However, I just updated this and it should be fine.
It is all the way to the left of the list in the lower right, with an empty space to the right of it, in between this and my ATI driver icon; which seems very weird. If I right-click on it the only choices are install/cancel/properties. Selecting properties displays the Java Control Panel. But it seems shady.

With a recent scan with Spyware Doctor in safemode, I found one more and was able to remove it:
    Trojan.Gaslide.B
