Ok I now have another computer to use. This computer is almost new and was given to me by my mother. My problem is everything looks large and the computer moves really slow. I have no idea of the problem and I would also like to remove SUPERAntiSpyware from the cpu and have no idea how. Here's my HJT log.

To remove a programe , go to add remove programes in control panel. And maybe you need to download a new display driver for your display problems

I'm having the same issue. I have run Adaware, Norton, McAfee, and whatever else I can think of, and I do not feel that my computer is running slow because of virus's, but it constantly takes forever to go from one selection to the next and my computer bounces around when it comes to it's memory. is there a way to increase my computer's memory or help it run faster? Recently it just seems to be dying on me.

One reason why that computer is running so slow is because there's too many programs running at startup that don't need to be doing so.

The resolution is probably set to 640 X 480 or 800 X 600 and needs to be set to 1024 X 768 or higher, which is why everything looks so large. Click Display in the Control Panel and then click the Settings tab to check the resolution.

What is the processor type and speed? What is the amount of RAM installed? What is the size of the hard drive and how much unused/free space is there?

    It's your log that I copied-and-pasted here.

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Intel Celeron is a low-end processor and doesn't run as fast as the Intel Pentium processor with the same rated speed.

That computer apparently has 512 MB of RAM. Another 256 - 512 MB of RAM would noticably improve overall performance. Is it a desktop or a laptop? What is the brand name, model name, and model number of that computer? According to the 04 entries in the log, it appears to be a Dell brand name.

my display is fine. I have done most of the checks already, i just seem to continuously get these "slow" issues...looking for another reason it could be happening.

Right-click MY COMPUTER, click Properties - System Restore, move the slider from its default value of 12% to 4%, then click Apply - OK.

Right-click RECYCLE BIN, click Properties, move the slider from its default value of 10% to 3%, then click Apply - OK.

    Restart the computer.

(These 2 setting changes will regain a sizeable chunk of hard drive space)

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Go into these 2 TEMP folders and then delete everything from inside them:

    C:\WINDOWS\TEMP

    C:\DOCUMENTS AND SETTINGS\(USERNAME)\LOCAL SETTINGS\TEMP

Empty the Recycle Bin afterwards and then restart the computer again.

(If this hasn't been done in awhile or ever done, don't be surprised to see hundreds of files and folders present. Depending on the number found and deleted will determine how much hard drive space is regained)

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Get the above done first and then we'll work on trimming down the startup list.

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

You advised that computer is a Toshiba Satellite? What is the model number?

Does it have any Dell brand name peripherals connected to it?
