You'll need more than a motherboard to upgrade that emachines.

It's possible the form factor of your case isn't standard, but rather some proprietary emachines configuration.

I'm confused. You're going to buy that whole computer just so you can use the 160 GB hard drive? Why not just buy a hard drive by itself?

The drive you have is Sata 1, so it is going to be somewhat of a bottle neck on that new motherboard. I would bite the bullet and buy a Sata 2 HDD. And there is no IDE Ports on the new motherboard and the emacines optical drives are IDE so they won't work.
