So as the title says i was playing Diablo 3 and my computer randomly turned off. I had no idea why as i was always able to run the game perfectly and my system does meet the system requirements. I cleaned my fan on my computer of dust to stop it from overheating if that was the problem but it still shut off within about half an hour of my playing.

I have no idea why its doing this. I have been playing this game for about a month and never had this issue. My system meets the requirements and i have no other issues with the game. Does anyone know what the problem is here? I am thinking its something to do with overheating but it makes no sense to me.

I know this issue. Check your heat sink fan. It is directly above the processor. If it is dirty your CPU will over heat and shut down. That happened to be yesterday and not only did I find a filthy fan but a plastic tab broke off. This is simple to replace and it seems you may have the same issue.

I cleaned the fan and the air vent and that seems to have worked. Thanks for the help
