The Brand is a Hybrid made up from various parts the main being a I7 chipset on a DZ68DB Mother board with 8GB ram and a 2TB & 1.5TB storage. The machine is about 8 months old.
I run AVG and Malwarebytes. Todate I have had the odd virus blocked but nothing serious ( I hope) Besides the virus programs I also clean the computer weekly with CCleaner as a precaution.

I hope this is of use

    Please download SINO by Artellos.

    • Save SINO to your desktop and run SINO.exe. (If you downloaded the ZIP version you will need to extract it first)
    • Then please check the following checkboxes:
      Code:
      System Info
      Event Log

    • Once checked, hit the Run Scan! button and wait for the program to finish the scan.
    • A notepad window will pop up. Please copy all of the content into your next reply.
Note: If you try to interact with the program once itÂ’s started scanning it might appear to hang. The scan however will continue.
    ----------
    Download Security Check by screen317
    http://screen317.spywareinfoforum.org/
    Save it to your Desktop.

Right click and select "Run as Administrator"
A command Prompt window will open.
Let it scan the Pc - press any key when asked.
It should now open in Notepad - and will save a log called checkup.txt.
Post the result of the scan here.

You may be prompted to restart to finish the removal process.
If Yes - restart your Pc.

    Start Malwarebytes again.
    Click on the Logs Tab.
    Highlight the scan log entry.
    Click - Open.
The scan log will appear in Notepad.
Copy and paste it in your next post.

I had the same problem once, I fixed it by removing some apps from the process list. Here are to chances..you have a hardware compatibility issue or a virus is messing out with you.
