I have an old PC which has a motherboard that will only take a IDE HDDs.
I was thinking about buying a new SATA HDD for my main PC and using one of the smaller SATA HDDs in the old PC.
What I need to know is if there is some special way that I would need to connect this up? Is there an adaptor that I would need to convert the HDDs SATA connection to an IDE to connect to the motherboard? I can see plenty of adaptors that convert the other way around to connect an IDE drive to a SATA connection, but I would need the other way.
Thanks
