Solved: Core 2 Duo running max cpu

    here are my specs

    Intel Core 2 Duo T7200 @ 2.00 GHZ
    2.00 GB of RAM
    Vista Business w/SP1 32 bit version

    Problem my system seems to be running at max cpu usage a very long peroids of time. I dont think memory is an issue. i have the power plan set to high performance and plugged in to the wall not on battery. What could be the issuse, plz help me

    It could be possibly because of programs running on your computer.

    What programs do you have open in your taskbar? Do you have Anti-Virus?

    Open up task mgr and see what app/process is using most of the cpu cycles.
