If you've been using Iolo System Mechanic and the file/registry cleaning feature of AVG 2012 and any other cleaner/optimizer/booster/tuneup/tweak type apps, you've probably damaged Windows and broken some programs and generated unexpected error/warning messages and started to create havoc with your computer.

Thank you for your response, but I don't know exactly know what you mean by "Probably" created havok by using AVG 2012 and System mechanic. Millions of people have these installed. Do you see any problems with these programs in my Hijack or system information I posted that will help me solve or eliminate the problem. Either of these programs can be deleted if necessary. Is this your recommendation?
    Thank you.

I also recommend that you get rid of AVG 2012 and then replace it with Microsoft Security Essentials 4.0.1526.0.

It's not bloated and problematic like AVG, it's more user-friendly, and it's well recommended here.

Unless you need ctfmon.exe(which most people don't), you can disable it by following the directions here.

Thank you so much for your advice. I will follow your link instructions and disable the ctfmon. I will also look at the microsoft anti virus program. I have never been a big fan of AVG, it is a very large program . This will be great.
Thank you again, you've been very helpful.

I used AVG until a couple of years ago when it got bloated and problematic and added the registry/file cleaning feature.

MSE is much smaller and much more user-friendly and much safer. (y)
