    good day tsg!

i need help in deleting or removing CD-ROM 1 DVD
(No Media) in Disk Management in XP.
    i guess it's a virtual drive,but i'm not sure.
think i used a mount/unmount software in the past, can't remember when and what i used.

Need you humble advice in how to delete or erase this completely.
But my pc's working very well anyway.

If it is a virtual drive then you have to find the program that put it there. The program is not likely to let it go very easily, try right click and left click properties and search for info in there to find the program. When program is found open the program and look thru options to find a way to shut off if possible.

The only other way is when you find the program is to un-install the program.

I searched my system, and indeed I have a mount/unmount software.
What i did was unmount all the drives, and disabled:set number of devices.

    Now it's all back to normal.thanks ozrom1e!
