So I recently installed Windows 7 on a brand new hard drive on my Dell Studio 1558. I took it to a russian guy in a repair shop to install the drivers and utilities for me since I did not know which drivers I needed. But now that I got my laptop back things are working fine, except for some small things. First is when I adjust my volume, theres no small interface showing volume level while on my old hard drive is was there. Secondly my eject button is not working but can still eject using My Computer. Another is no more notification of Caps Lock in use or not.

So what Im wondering is, could it be that Russian guy installed the drivers incorrectly or in the wrong order as what Dell says?

I have all my drivers installed already, but like Dell have stated, if my drivers are installed out of order it can mess things up. And like I have said before, I have someone else do it for me and now Im experiencing interfaces no longer there and eject botton doesnt work.
