If you click and drag on your desktop, you will be able outline multiple icons. Hitting delete will send them all to the Recycle Bin.

What kind of files are they?

There must be a setting in Nero allowing you to specify the default location where they should go.
Or otherwise in the Registry.

Hiya

You say that you have now moved them from your desktop. Am I right? If not, try rightclicking, and whilst holding it down, drag it to a folder. When you release the mouse, you will be given some options. Choose Move Here.

As to them installing on your desktop, is there a default path somewhere in the software in which you could change?

Regards

eddie

there is an option in the program to make a new data base which is what these icons are and I have done that, made a new one I mean but the icons are still on the desktop as well as in my documents where I made the new data base

Okay

First off, can you tell us the full version number? There may be a patch available. As for the icons, try opening Windows Explorer and clicking on the desktop icon on the left.

All the icons should apear on the right. Now, note how many of them there are, then try and move them, using the rightclick method Move Here.

What generally happens, is that on your desktop, if there are more than, say 50 icons, the rest 'fall' off the side. So, when you move the ones you can see, you think that more are being replaced.

Going to Explorer gives you the option of seeing them all.

Hi Bob, I just replied to your email as well.....

I'm thinking you aren't getting them all......are they replacing with the exact name? I'm thinking like Eddie, they are tons of them and they are hanging over the edge and you can't see them all.....just keep deleting until your desktop is clean........
