Yesterday (stupidly), I downloaded the game Oregon Trail for a little bit of retro fun and installed the program. It installed itself into a program folder with two shortcuts being placed on the desktop.

Today, I went to clean up my desktop and found that the program file "Oregontrail-dm.exe" wouldn't let me delete it. It gave me a pop-up message that said the file was currently in use by a person or program.

I checked in my running programs and processed, no trace of it whatsoever. So I did a quick google search, to see if there was something I was just missing, and found several websites that told me that it was a virus file, which would self-propogate and hide itself all over my system, as well as hiding other things from me.

Immediately, I tried a system restore to the day prior. Upon rebooting, the file was still on my desktop, but I was able to delete it....only to find a new copy hidden in my "Downloads" folder, under a different name - Oregontrail-dm[1].exe. I was able to delete this file right away as well.

I'm hoping I've caught it...I don't see it in any of the folders it's said to pop up in. I've run a spy sweeper scan and I have a hijackthis log. Would someone be able to take a quick scan of this and let me know if there's anything I should be concerned about?
