Solved: Disable mouse hover over folder properties popup

    hi, stupid question....but this has been driveing me nuts.

    Im looking to disable the feature in XP that pulls up general folder properties when the mouse hovers over a folder. Or atleast delay it.

    In case u dont follow my issue, when i hover over some of my larger folders....1 gig and up...the HDD goes nuts because XP is calculating the general properties and contents.
    It will then give the general properties popup with:
    Size:
    Folders:
    Files:


    Any and all help is appreciated.

    P.S. i looked thru xp powertoys and couldnt find a specific setting....:mad:
