I have a dlink router model DIR 628, computerr windows vista and a Samsung CLX 3160FN multifunction laser printer/scanner /fax machine. I am trying to set up an email account for the printer so I can scan and e-mail documents. Samsung helped me install the "syncthru" web service but when i enter the IP address that appears on the settings from the printer it does not work. Samsung said to get DLinks to set the router to DHCP which will give us the correct IP address to enter in the web browser. When I access the dlink wet up at 192.168.0.1 I think it says DHCP enabled. Not sure what to do now. How do I find the correct ip address to set up the printer?

    is this still a problem

Do you need a fixed IP for the printer or will it use DHCP

You should be able to see the DHCP range in the router settings

Do you know if thats the IP address that have been given to the printer by the DHCP service
