Every time I turn on my laptop I get the following message:

"Notification dll has not been registered, program will not work correctly."

The errorbox title says this is for the wireless connection. The wireless appears to work fine. How do I get the message to stop.

Make sure these 2 services are set to Manual:

    COM+ Event System
    COM+ System Application

What is the make and model of your machine?

Do you have any security software from Blink installed?

I do not have any Blink software installed.

My machine is a Dell Precision M20 with XP Pro SP3.

Where do I check the settings for the services?

    For services,

    Click Start > Run > type services.msc

    Click OK.

One of the services was set to disabled. I changed it to manual as instructed and rebooted the laptop. The message did not come up on the reboot. That appears to have resolved the issue. Thanks everyone.
