Im having problems connecting to a couple of websites. One of them happens to be Majorgeeks.com and I was able to connect using the IP address.

So, whats the best way to deal with this problem? I know its a DNS issue, but I dont want to go editing stuff if im not sure about it. I do have all the IP/DNS set to auto since it is a laptop, but they still wont pull up if I go to different places.

Running Vista Home Premium. Need any other info, let me know.

Didn't work. I had actually tried that right after I posted. Saw it on another site.

Ok, problem solved. I did have a stupid little trojan that was screwing with the DNS. It wouldnt let me change the DNS ip on my lappy here. I would go in and edit it and after closing out, it would change back.

kdamm.exe seemed to be the bad little trojan. I had searched for this little process before because it looked suspicous, but all I found was websites in another language. So maybe by posting it here others that search for it will know its not something good.
