Where are you trying to download it from. Is it a legal copy?

As for your specific problem you are not alone if you google the problem

Are you up to date with windows updates ?

I cant make that decison for you
I would advise reading up as much as you can and then deciding for yourself whether its worth all the hassle

As far as i know its not like a third party download manager
If your pc crashes then you will have to restart the download
Maybe we should be looking at why it is crashing ?

    Have you added anything new
Has it always crashed during downloads ?
    Any clues

well i do have a theory.my comodo firewall gives me message system is about to recieve a message from outside computer & also svchost is about to recieve a connection from outside PC it always comes from same IP address from same ISP as mine.Though i have started denying request to it but yesterday i found a remote desktop connection in My Documents folder even though remote desktop connections and remote connections are disabled in system properties. i think someone is getting on my PC and i dont know how to stop him.If some help on this front can be offered i would be very thankful

How about using a friends computer that doesn't have the problem of crashing to dowload the file and burn the iso to dvd. You don't have to download it to the computer you are going to install it on.
