After reinstalling Vista Home Premium, my D drive which is the recovery section of the hard drive, has been renamed the H drive and one of the card readers has become the D drive.

Does anyone know how to correct the names of the drives?

You can do it through the Vista disk management.
Control Panel -System and Maintenance -Administrative Tools-Create and format hard disk drives.
You will have to change the card reader temporarily to something else, to free up D. (x Y Z?). You can then put it back to where it was, whic I would suggest, so that it retains its installed path.
