I have looked everywhere I can think of to find drivers for my laptop. I have an IBM thinkpad, model number 2648-5VU and I have win2000 o/s and I am looking for a motherboard driver so I can get my video, NIC and sound going. Does anybody know where I can find this.

    thanx

I cant do that because that system doesn't have a functioning NIC card. Thats why I need the drivers

I got a couple IBM thinkpads and the damn things didn't come with driver CDs. I really don't like that. Just a complaint...no good advice here. I did find them online at the Driver page, but it wasn't very user friendly....

Well, I put in your model number etc in techkids link above, then went to 'Software and device drivers' in the results, and got THIS set of drivers. You might need to pick and choose what you need, but they look to be all there. This is probably the only place you can get them all in one spot.
