Solved: drivers update

I have tried, unsuccessfully, to update drivers using Plimus/ixitools updater programs. When I downloaded the updates, it broke things that their tech support wouldn't help me repair so I obtained a refund from that company and deleted their updater scans, etc. So, I wanted to know what is a good "driver updater" company which seems to be the easiest to use for a non-technical person like me. I know most driver updater programs want an annual fee so thought I would check to determine what others have had success with. Thanks

The best driver updater is YOURSELF, if you need to update your drivers get them from the device manufacturers website.
I only ever update drivers if they absolutely NEED updating. If everything is working as it should be on your system then there is NO point updating them.
More often than not these driver update utilities cause more trouble than they are worth, my advice is avoid them.
