Hi,

If I want to dual boot XP and Red Hat, I have to partition my hard disk!

Currently my hard disk is un partitioned and running xp only. Can I partition the disk and leave xp alone or do I have to format the whole disk, partition it, and then add xp and then Red Hat?

In other words, can I load unix with the hassle of re loading xp?

Thanks
Simon

Hi Richard,
Thanks for that. I think I will take an old hard disk and install this in my xp machine and run RED HAT on the 2nd disk.

So for that you need 2 partitions, so you have to delete main partition and recreate partitions.
