a friend of mine has recently purchased a second hand pc ( he is unemployed) he has reformatted the hard disk - was a lot of junk on it, and re-installed win98, however when he tries to read another cd in the DVD drive windows says "drive not accessible" could anyone tell me what he needs to do, as I cannot work it out.

Also he has not got a DVD driver program to operate the DVD will he need a one?

Ian - tearing my hair out!
