Solved: Dvd region

    I would like to buy some dvd from ebay but the sellers only have them in region 2 dvd. I am in Canada so I think i wont work because North america is region 1. I have 2 alternative ways to watch dvds: desktop dvd drive or living room dvd player. How do we check if my machines are region free or not? I bought them locally in Canada.

    You can check your desktop by Rt-Clicking the Drive in Device Manager/Properties/Region
    You can change the region a limited number of times.
    You might get some info on your player at:
    www.videohelp.com
