    Hi littlejay2

Can you send successfully to another email (I always test by sending one to myself)
If this works (Send and Receive) then it must be the email you're sending to is NOW incorrect.

Please confirm the email you're sending to is correct, by asking your brother to send an email to you, and then right click on his message - properties - show headers which will show you his (new ?) email address.

Have you tried the test email to yourself (or is your email OK anyway)

Have you asked your brother (by phone! ) to send an email to you to confirm the headers ?

    OK

I need to be more specific here

    If I use this email:
    [email protected]
    And this email:
    [email protected]

    They are different !!

Because the first one contains a space at the end of the email.
I do not want you to check for a space at the end of your brother's email; I want you to be aware that the email that you are sending might look (and be typed) the exact way as it is suppose to be.
    But
It may not be the right email

There is only ONE way to tell, this is the ONLY way to confirm.

You must have your brother send an email to you, check the headers (I use copy and paste) And then use that email in your outgoing To: field.

ON A DIFFERENT NOTE (this is capitalized to show another issue in failed emails)

Have you any spam filtering turned on
Have you tried without firewall turned on (as a test - to see if the firewall is blocking)
What IS running on your system (use task manager)
