I am running Windows XP Home Edition on a very old computer. Was on Internet via AOL and now cannot close a specific webpage. This webpage opens up as a pdf file every time I try to sign on to AOL and then I get a message saying there is a problem..... "error C000001d at module JP2KLib.dll at address 0AAC2COD". Prompt says it will restart AOL and if OK is chosen, it restarts, the pdf opens and immediately shuts down again. I hope I am using the right terminology here...I apologize if not as I am not (at all) computer literate. Internet Explorer works fine. Any direction would be appreciated!

Uninstall Adobe Acrobat Reader. Then download and install the latest version of it or better still, download and install FoxitReader. It's much faster and better all around than Adobe.

it might be a bad AOL install, try to rebuild the AOL adapter, that fixed many issues I had with AOL
