I have installed MSE, MBAM and SAS but is there something else, program/special settings needed that keeps one's emails safe as in 'nobody else' can read them - or are emails just like holiday postcards without envelopes? tpeac

Regular e-mail is pretty much like a postcard where anybody that wanted to, could read it as it moves from server to server. As long as both sender and recipient agree to use it, there are ways of sending encrypted e-mails that can not be read while in transit.

Are you talking about people reading it 'in transit' or other users of your PC? If the latter then the main protection is for each user to have their own non-administrator login.

Thank you Cwwozniak for your reply and the sites I have made a note of the two addresses. Thank you Calvin-c for your reply yes I realise that each person can have their own non-administrator login, I was more concerned about the people reading it 'in transit'. Cwwozniak has confirmed my options. Thank you both. tpeac
