1. For several weeks "iexplorer.exe" would sometimes hog CPU time as viewed in Win Task Manager.

2. Now, after some meddling with both MSIE and AOL, MSIE will not shut down.
Well, it tries, then the messages: "We've detected an error and must shut down" and "Do you want to send an error message" appear. As soon as I click on the Error message, it starts back up.
3. Also, whenever AOL starts, MSIE starts.
4. MSN Portfolio Manager will not work due to a "Passport" problem (it works other places) which I am sure is related.
4. I have re-installed AOL and MSIE. No help.

This sounds VERY similar as #25310.

My Log below.

Disregard Previous: Here is another Log with the new version
(I deleted a couple of old items using info from MERIJN's tutorial.)
NOW:
1. AOL not a problem. It seems to be running independant of MSIE.
2. iExplore.exe is behaving and not recently hogging the CPU.
3. MSIE still will not shut down. After the error message, it starts back up again.
4. The MSN website does not seem to recognize my MSIE for the "Scan for Update" function.
5. MSIE and PassPort are not working together. Other Passport functions are OK . . works fine to get to Hotmail
I am clueless.
