Sorry, i`m still not getting this. I saved it as "csv" as you both said, but how do i get the contacts into Outlook Express? Edit--When i open Outlook Express and go>file>import>address book>select address book file to import from, the csv file is not there to select, but is in My Documents when i open it.import the csv file
on the tutorial
rather than PST
you need to change to a comma separated values (windows)
point 2 - choose the csv fileImport Address Books
You can import address book contacts from other Microsoft Windows® Address Book files (.wab), as well as from Netscape Communicator, Microsoft Exchange Personal Address Book, or any text (.csv) file.
For Windows Address Book
On the File menu, point to Import, and then click Address Book.
Select the address book or file type you want to import, and then click Open.
and theres never an issue here for me with anyone replying - no toes stepped on - so go ahead
As My fair lady said "I think he`s got it". Thank You both heaps. It takes me a while but when i got it i got it good. Contacts are in Outlook Express..Open the Address Book in Outlook Express:
File > Import > Other Address Book
Select: Text File (Comma Separated Values)
Click: Import > Browse
Browse to the location of the .csv file you just created and select it.
The Import should begin.
Sorry for stepping on your toes etaf
