Solved: External hard drive

    Help I have a external harddrive which is already formatted to ntfs it ha 365 GB free space any ideas.
    The file i want to upload is 5gb

    Just copy the file to the external. Unless you are having other problems with the external it is as easy as copying a file from one internal dive to another internal drive, but will take a bit longer.

    sorry about the brief comment. Okay basically the issue is that the the hard drive doesn't show up on my computer. It is visible in device manager but not in my computer

    Assign a drive letter to the drive in Disk Management. You didn't post your operating system, so I can't be more specific. Google it and your OS, and you'll find exact instructions.
