Win XP Pro SP2
Previously, the PC had AOL 9.0, with desktop shortcuts associated with AOL.
I uninstalled AOL 9.
Now, the shortcuts are the IE icon, but I am informed that there is a file association problem.
Same thing happens with newly created internet shortcuts.
folder options > tools > "file types" tab
I set IE shortcuts to be associated with c:\program files\internet explorer\iexplore.exe
I hope you can assist me.
Thanks for your help.
