Solved: files wont open and downloads wont work

    for almost a year my computer has not allowed me to open anything without choosing wat application i want to open it with. i have to right click and choose run in order to get anything to open. Now i tried to download itunes and when i tried to run it it said the application was not found. Does anybody know whats wrong??

    Try this fix: EXEFIX

    Unzip the fix and extract the .reg file to the desktop. Double-click it to merge it to the registry. Note that you need to be an Administrator to apply this fix.

    Reboot the computer.

    If the fix only opens as a text file, right-click it and select Open With > Choose Program... Then, select the Registry Editor.

    If the Registry Editor is not in the list, browse to C:\WINDOWS and select regedit.
