Solved: Finding files on old hard drive

    My brothers computer died and he needs his photos. I plugged his hard drive into my machine but I cannot find any files with photos. Any idea what I should do. Thanks

    You plugged his hard drive into your computer......internally or externally via usb.

    You will have to take "ownership" of all his files before you can see photos!

    I plugged the drive in internally.

    Please note the point that you will have to restart in Safe Mode!!!!!
