Solved: Firefox not responding

    Hi lads and lasses i am having problems when i play on games mainly zinger poker the computer freezes and i get a message saying mozerilla firefox not respondingi have tried all the easy solutions disc clean up defragmenting and deleating cookies but nothing works i am totally computer illiterate so in as simple terms as possible please. HELP!!!!!!!!:mad:

    You have a 2.17Ghz processor which is ample with 256Mb ram which is woefully inadequate for gaming
    XP itself runs with a MINIMUM of 256Mb.
    Your computer must be using hard disc space as ram, which is doing the hard drive no good.
    Increase the ram and you will solve your problem.
    If you need help on ordering and fitting do not hesitate to come back.

    thanks for the advice i will get that done but could you tell me how much ram i wwould need and how much i should expect to pay for it including fitting or would it be an easy thing for me to fit ?

    I cannot find that serial number on the packard bell site. Is it a laptop- or desktop.
    Is there a model name, as against number and how did you go on with Crucial

    Havent been able to download crucial when i try to save file the downloads box comes up but its empty and nothing happens
    its a desktop and nothing else at all on the tower

    You do not SAVE it it is a scanner you simply click on the RUN - firstly you have to agree the conditions, did you notice the box to check.
    Choose your location when you get on the link I did not know where you were.

    It did when I entered it manually, I thought the utility might find it.
    What did Crucial say please.

    Delete POST 13 details it is a product key for your software.
    You do not know who is looking at this.
