Solved: Firefox sync tab deosn't appear in the options

    Hi everyone!

    -The problem:
    I have a sync account in my Firefox for longer than year
    Yesterday, my sync tab in the options appear like this: http://i.imgur.com/cCtCO.png
    It's not as it supposed to be, I can't sync or do any thing related, its haven't one button at least!
    When I click on 'Firefox > set up sync...' and choose 'I have an account' it appears like this http://i.imgur.com/IVpI9.png What that's mean? I want to sync THIS computer not another one!


    -What I did and think it leads to this problem:
    from "Firefox> Options> Sync> Account Management> Reset Sync> Replace all data on this computer with my Sync data"
    That option is supposed to delete everything from Firefox and replace it with my sync account data but what I canceled it before the end so everything (Bookmarks, Themes, Extensions...etc.) deleted.
    But nothing has replaced.. so Firefox is COMPLETELY blank now!!


    -Things I've tried so far:
    1-I use 'system restore point' to go back to before this happen.
    2-Uninstall Firefox FROM THE CORE using Revo Uninstaller and reinstall it.
    3-Start Firefox in the 'Safe mode'.
    4-Reset Firefox.
    With all of this.. nothing solve the problem!!


    -Tech Info:
    OS: Windows 7 sp1 32bit
    Browser: Firefox 16.2 (When having the problem) Firefox 18 (NOW).

    No matter how the solution is hard, just tell me and I will do it

    If you're always keeping your possibly corrupted profile when reinstalling Firefox, the problem will remain.

    You mean 'Firefox user profile' like in this post?
    I create a new profile as in that post and remove the old one but still the sync tab wont appear!
    So I uninstalled Firefox then deleted 'Mozilla' folder from 'AppData >Roaming' and reinstall it but it's the same!!
    I will be thankful if there's any other suggestions..

    Yes Firefox 17.0.1 is the latest stable version, while Firefox 18 is a beta ver.
    anyway I delete it now and install Firefox 17.0.1 but still, the problem isn't because the Firefox itself

    Honestly, I've never used the Sync option in Firefox, so don't really know what you are talking about.

    Let's hope someone with more knowledge about the option will jump in.
