You need to have the Java Script run so it will load the flash.

I don't have Firefox 3 but in the firefox 2 in the options "Content" tab your see Enable JavaScript and Enable Java. Put a checkmark by them and click OK.

Also look at my post here in Firefox and flash player problems...
Are you seeing flash at other sites? If not check to make sure you got the flash installed.

the box is checked and i went on allsp (i think that is all made by a javascript) and that works as i played a movie there (you might want to check it out for yourself).

i don't think that forum gave me any knowledge as it said that he didn't have it installed, where i have installed it many times

Has it worked at you tube before?
What changes have you made to your computer? New programs and updates.
Could be your firewall or other Anti program protection where you have to give youtube rights as a trusted site.

Well that should not of killed your flash. Any java you uninstall was the "Sun Java" so that would not effect things either.

Do a reinstall of the flash. Get the flash here.
full flash Player installer for Firefox, Mozilla, Netscape
Download flash Player 9 (Complete Standalone Installer) - free ...

Then look here if the new install does not fix anything.
Flash install problems - how to fix Flash player installation ...

And last if the above does not work do a uninstall.
Download the Flash Player Uninstall program to remove Flash

This will also uninstall for the IE flash so your want to install that again if you want it.
Download Flash Player 9 (Complete Standalone Installer) - free ...
