i installed my new computer and i turn it on and in the post i get an error message.

    Floppy disk(s) fail (40)

press F1 the continue or del for setup.

i dont want to have to press F1 everytime i turn on. :(

i took my floppy disk drive out, but it still says it?

    any ideas?

    thanks

Remove the floppy reference from BIOS also. There should be an entry there about removable media, Drive A:, and 1.44 MB assigned to it. Change this to "none".
