    Upon up My Computer, click Tools. What options do you have? Folder Options is normally the last one.

    ->run->regedit
    There are several keys that contain policies like:
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Restrictions
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Control Panel

    it happens some times....try and see if you have any restrictions connected with folder options

    don't del if you don't know what is it!

    AJ , Go to the link below and scroll down to line 129 (left column) and click on "Restore Folder Options Under Tools" to download a reg file fix. Save the REG File to your hard disk. Double click it and answer yes to the import prompt.
