my folders normally show thumbnails of the files, but after running some system clean-up and making performance a little better/faster, all i see now is tiles--[see attached]

How do i get thumbs back?

    --------------------------------------------------------

These folders have two 'view' buttons--(see attatched "view" )
Neither one lists the thumb option-- (see attatched view 1 and View 2)

In Windows Explorer, click on Organize > Folder and Search Options > View

Uncheck Always show icons, never thumbnails.

I guess you are using Win Vista. So You need to go here, "Folder Options/View" tab menu, it's important to UNCHECK the box that says: "Always shows icons, never thumbnails" and to CHECK "Display file icon on thumbnails"

    RE: Phantom010
That did the trick.....I've scoured that list a time or two and missed that line........ was looking only for the word 'thumbnails'
As for the google search, for some searches, I never know how to phrase the query..
