Brand new here, searched the forum (though didn't browse), hope you can help with a niggle.

Running Win XP Pro & Office XP Home - which does not/not include FrontPage. Went out and bought FrontPage 2003 Academic ($$ :( ), installed it yesterday.

Now, I found my previous version (bundled with Office 98) was pretty elusive: finding the Themes location was hard enough with that one. However, with this 2003 version I want to do a tiny thing - add FP to my Office Toolbar. Does anyone know what the file that should be named frontpage.exe is called for the 2003 version, and where it might be hiding?

I've run every kind of file search I can think of - nil result. Googled and Googled until I just can't Google any more. Even tried Microsoft Tech.Net and KnowledgeBase. Nil result.

I'm sure this won't be my last problem with FP03, but as a first problem it's really getting my goat.

    Cheers,

Thanks AcaCandy ... but the weird thing was that searching for '*.exe' modified in the last week (and month) just didn't find it ... until this morning after your reply.

I'll call it just another crazy whacky Microsoft jape at my expense, or my own PC is taking potshots at my sanity.

It wouldn't have been modified in that time period. That was your problem ;) Look at the date of the .exe file :)

Ah HA! So even though it was installed on 29 July 2006, the file date of 23 July 2003 (presumably a manufacture or build point date) is the one it was looking at.

    Curses, foiled again.

Its nothing to do with frontpage, that's how all Windows software is.
