I've been unsuccessful in getting answer to my question from other forums regarding the compatability of the Microsoft Flight Simulation game FSX Acceleration on Win7 Ultimate 64 Bit. I tried loading the FSX software but instead of going into the installation process I kept getting this Autoplay window and something to the effect that "the application has failed to start because its side by side configuration is incorrect". I've loaded other games successfully so I'm sure it's not the optical drive. I suspect that my FSX disk is defective but before I buy a new copy of the FSX, I just want to make sure that it is compatible with my OS.

I found out what I was doing wrong. I was loading the FSX Acceleration and it won't load because I should have loaded the FSX DeLuxe copy first and then loade the FSX Acceleration.
