Never would I have thought I'd be asking a question like this! There is a dog hair in my Dell LCD! How do I get it out? It's driving me crazy!

Try holding a cat hair nearby and it should come out and chase it.

    LOL but not too helpful---

I'm thinking science rather than computers. How about if you create some friction say, by rubbing a piece of velvet hard, and then try to attract the hair across the screen so it is, at least, out of the way?

Do you have a dog? Has it always been in the screen?

You might be able to use canned air at the edge to blow it to the side. Without actually seeing the LCD screen, it's hard to know how effective this would be, or how much disassembly you'd have to do.

you could umm just open it up... but if you have doubts like i would if i was in your situation try asking a proffesional to fish it out.. he shouldnt charge you more than $20 and if he does thats high way robbery!

That's the easiest route for sure. LCDs are usually pretty fast to pop open. If there are not simply four tabs holding it together at or near the corners, they will just be screws or a combination of the two.. if you can manage to open it, lay it on its back and gently lift the face off.. However it's done, do like Johnny said and spray the crap out of it with canned air. DO NOT BLOW ON IT OR TOUCH IT WITH YOUR FINGERS! (you'll see why if you do)

Personally however, I prefer the uber-hilarious cat hair answer. :D MEOW!
