    Hey there.

I just build myself a new PC a few days ago and I installed XP and everything was working well and good and I decided to upgrade to vista as I used to run it on my old pc and I have it on my laptop and i much prefer the way it works, anyway now that I have installed vista my new 500gb Western Digital hard drive is only showing as a 127gb.

However I checked the BIOS and its labled with a 500gb capacity.

I would be very greatful if anyone could help me out :)

Where do you see that size? What does Disk Management say about the drive?

Did you have SP2 in the XP version before you upgraded to Vista?
