Solved: harddisk security

    my acer aspire one windows xp , on start up gives this message
    harddisk security primary master wdc wd1200bevt-22zctlock

    Sounds like the drive is password-protected.

    i hit f2 on start up and it ask for current password

    the pc is 2 years old and it never asked for a password before
