When I log in to my dial up it connects to the Internet. Then when I click my outlook express mail, I have to click on-try to connect to server and then OK, then I get my email server. I have to leave on my email when i go to the internet, otherwise I have to connect again to my email. How do I correct this problem? Thanks  I have Windows XP Pro.

Not sure if I understand what your problem is but do you have these two things checked.

Thanks bicycle Bill, Yes I have them checked. The message that comes up is "A dial-up connection is already established." "Try to locate server on current connection." this is the one I check and then OK. and it gets it right away. I can also check redial, that takes to long. If I close my email I have to check it again to reconnect. Everything is fine other then that.

    I left out a step.

    Tools/ Accounts>properties
Check each account under connection, and make sure that 'Always connect to
    this account using..' is unchecked
