I have a REAL ANNOYING problem with my PC. Everytime I reboot my computer and then open up IE, within a few minutes a full size window pops up with an AD.

I can't for the life of me figure out how this got on my computer or how to get rid of it. Any help would be appreciated.

It's not doing anything destructive and apparently it's not a virus because I run Norton all the time. Any suggestions???

The file is fairly deep so you need a cleaning utility like AdAware or RegCleaner to weedle it out. It's probably in the registry section.

Just one caution when using Spybot. Only target the items in red since they are the mischivious ones. The other functions within Spybot spend some time reading what they do to fully understand before using.
