Solved: Help me convert my iPod from NTFS to FAT32 please.

    I'm running Vista and my iPod is an 80gb classic. Earlier today I formatted it to NTFS so I could store a couple of +4gb video files on it, without realising it would fubar the entire OS and that my blu-ray player doesn't even recognise NTFS anyway. Everything stored on my ipod is backed up so I have no reservations about losing any data, if that is what this process will ultimately result in.

    Did you try and format back to FAT32 using the same process you used to format to NTFS

    I used windows to convert it from FAT32 to NTFS. I don't think it supports that conversion in reverse

    having difficulty trying getting itunes to sync/restore my ipod. i'll try the other pc
