I was working on a 800 word paper that was due for my English class and I had 3 Microsoft 2007 Word documents open.

I think I might have saved one of the other documents over my paper by using the 'Save As' option. But I'm not sure.

It was either that or I just didn't save it.

Is there anyway for me to recover my paper? If it helps, I have a Acer Aspire 7736Z-4905

    Hi and Welcome,
A basic check first ... have you looked in the recycle bin? If not there you could try Recuva a free data recovery prog:

    Hope this helps?

    I ended up re-writing it =[

Luckily I had my girlfriend revise some of it so she had half of what I was working on :)

Thanks for the help thought :)
